Welcome to Odense

Odense is an easy city to get around - especially on foot. You can walk to Odense Dyrskueplads (concert venue), see the walking routes on the map here.

Walk from Odense train station / Odense City:
If you are walking from Odense train station, you can go through the city center and along Falen to get to the concert venue. The route is approximately 3.7 km and will take about 45 minutes to walk.

Walk from Vesterbro tram station:
If you take the tram to Vesterbro, you can walk to the concert venue in about 25 minutes. The route is approximately 1.9 km.

If you plan to cycle to the concert, you can use the specially designated bicycle parking spaces at Dyrskuepladsen.

If you are entering via Entrance A, you can use the bicycle parking area at Travbanevej/Broløkkevej. Access via Falen.

If you are entering via Entrance B, you can use the bicycle parking area at Flemmings Allé. Access via Sdr. Boulevard.

If you are taking the bus around Odense, it is advantageous to buy a ticket for the light rail, as it can also be used on the buses. Purchase your ticket by scanning the QR code at the light rail stations or via the website here: https://letbanebillet.dk/. You can also use the portal Rejsebillet here: https://www.rejsekort.dk/da/rejsebillet.

If you take the bus from Odense train station, you can take the following buses, which have stops close to the concert venue: 

• Bus 55 in the direction of Bellinge from stop OBC Syd C
  Get off at Tietgens Allé / Sdr. Boulevard and then walk to the concert venue.
• Bus 85 in the direction of Højby from stop OBC Syd C
  Get off at OUH / J.B. Winsløws Vej and walk to the concert venue.
• Bus 141 in the direction of Faaborg from stop OBC Nord H
  Get off at Tietgens Allé / Sdr. Boulevard and then walk to the concert venue.
• Bus 151-153 in the direction of Glamsbjerg/Assens from OBC Syd C. 
  Get off at Tietgens Allé / Sdr. Boulevard and then walk to the concert venue.

You can easily travel with the light rail around Odense, where you can buy a ticket via the QR codes at the stations or inside the light rail cars. The ticket costs DKK 15 and is valid for one hour. You can also download the Rejsebillet app, which works just like the physical Rejsekort.

If you take the tram, you can get off at the following locations and walk to concert venue: 

• Odense Railway Station (app. 45 min. walk)
• Vesterbro (app. 25 min. walk)

The light rail will operate for 7.5 minutes in the hours leading up to and immediately after the concert. For the rest of the day, normal service will be provided.

If you enter the light rail at University of Southern Denmark, you can benefit from using the stop "Campus Odense," where there will be service guides present.

We strongly urge you to park on the outskirts of the city and take public transport to Dyrskuepladsen to avoid queuing after the concert.

Below, you can find an overview of possible parking options, as well as how to proceed to the concert venue.

Parking at Syddansk Universitet
Free parking at Syddansk Universitet.
Adress, P West: Fioniavej, 5230 Odense M
Adress, P East Campusvej, 5220 Odense SØ
Please be aware that the parking area at Cortex Park and Campuskollegiet has specific rules. Always make sure to orient yourself by reading the posted signs.

If you are coming from the highway, take exit 50, Odense SØ and drive to SDU. Since there are several parking spaces at Fioniavej, it is recommended to find a space there first.

From here, you can take the Tram from the stops Campus Odense or SDU University, heading towards the city center (Albani Torv) or the Vesterbro stop.

Parkering Odense Syd
Free parking facility right next to the Tram
Adress: Søndre Hospitalsvej 25, 5260 Hjallese

Take the highway exit 50, Odense SØ, and use the free parking facility.
From here, you can also access the tram line. 

Parking at Ørbækvej 100
There is free parking at the parking lot at Ørbækvej 100. From here, you can conveniently take the light rail towards the city from the light rail stop by IKEA on the other side of the road.

Parking at the Racecourse and Tusindårsskoven Fyens Racecourse has parking spaces on their premises and at Tusindårsskoven, which the audience must purchase before the concert. Guests who need to park at Fyens Racecourse have entry and exit via Sanderumvej and Væddeløbsvej. Guests who need to park at Tusindårsskoven (Trekanten) can enter and exit via Mågebakken. It is recommended to use exit 52, Odense SV.

Kiss and Ride If you are being dropped off and picked up from the concert by car, a “Kiss and Ride” area has been established on Mågebakken close to Dyrskuepladsen.

It is easy to take the train to Odense, as there are several departures per hour from both Zealand and Jutland.
Check www.dsb.dk , www.gocollective.dk or www.rejseplanen.dk to plan your journey.

Are you travelling from Svendborg?
You can take the regional train directly to the concert venue. Get of at the Odense Sygehus Station, which is a 15 min. walk from the concert venue. 

From Odense train station to the venue
You can get to the concert venue by bus, tram or on foot from Odense train station. See relevant information sections on this page.

Please be aware that after the concert, there will be heavy traffic at the stop "Odense Sygehus" and limited capacity on the trains. It may be advantageous to look for other transportation options.

Disabled parking will be available at the forecourt facing Sdr. Boulevard. There will be signs directing access to disabled parking via Anne Maries Allé / Rosenvænget / Clausens Allé / Østergårds Allé to the forecourt. Identification is a disability badge.

You can also park for free, at Parkering Odense Syd or SDU, and take the tram to Hjallese station or the city center. The tram is fully accessible for wheelchairs.

From Hjallese stration, you can take the regional train to Odense Sygehus Station, from where there is a 15 min. walk to the entrance to the concert venue.

If you are taking a taxi to the concert venue, you need to be aware that several roads will be blocked. We recommend the following places for drop off and pick up. 

Drop-off point before the concert: Right turn lane from Kløvermosevej towards Falen.

Pick-up point after the concert: The nearest pick-up point will be at Odense University Hospital in front of the psychiatric ward car park.

Limited parking for tourist buses will be established near the concert venue. Tourist buses must enter via exit 53 to Kløvermosevej and then turn right onto Falen. Here, they will be allowed entry by the Home Guard.
