Spring in the Iron Age
Finally spring! The Iron Age people are preparing for the arrival of spring and summer. Sleeping bags are beaten and houses are aired out. Maybe the sheep have new lambs?
On selected days, you can join the völva (seeress) or the lady of the house on a walk in nature. We’ll find the first small herbs in the wild and make delightful drinks – come and have a taste. Throughout the holiday, you can try the Iron Age Village’s task basket with various creative activities and challenge your family with ancient games and pastimes.
Check the calendar to see when the village’s craftsmen bring out tools and equipment to showcase what can be created with knowledge and skilled hands.
