The exhibition unfolds as a vast labyrinth that visitors explore, circle by circle. Here, kaleidoscopic mirror rooms, twisting tunnels, and oversized eyes that seem to gaze and roll on their own await. The deeper we journey toward the labyrinth’s heart, the thicker and more mysterious the atmosphere becomes.
Skyward Leaps & Flights of Fancy is a poetic exhibition reflecting a child’s journey through life's small and grand moments. From the first time we open our eyes to observe the world, to that moment when—enriched by countless experiences—we find life’s essence and glimpse our place as a small yet meaningful part of a greater whole.
The sensory exhibition is a beloved tradition at Kunstmuseum Brandts, especially popular with children ages 4–10 and their accompanying adults. This year, it’s been brought to life by scenographers Marie Rosendahl Chemnitz and Johan Kølkjær, both seasoned creators of immersive and spectacular theater experiences in Denmark and internationally.
