Experience a truly unique blend of music, nature, and culture on Carl Nielsen’s Camino – a 120 km-long sound walk inspired by the world-famous Funen-born composer Carl Nielsen. Follow in his footsteps through Odense’s charming neighborhoods and further into Funen’s scenic landscapes.
On this special journey, you’ll be accompanied by beautiful musical pieces, captivating stories, and immersive soundscapes that offer a deeper insight into Carl Nielsen’s life and works.
The route begins in the heart of Odense and is divided into 12 stages, stretching from Odense to Faaborg. In the first few kilometers, you’ll walk through the city’s historic streets, lush green spaces, and vibrant urban life – a walk so delightful that both Vogue Italia and Forbes have recommended it. The first stage in Odense is a 4 km loop, plus an optional 5 km bonus route from the city center to the forest lake.
