The Odense Symphony Christmas Concerts

The concert hall is located in idyllic surroundings in the old town and will be beautifully decorated for Christmas throughout December.

On December 3, 6, and 7, there will be Christmas concerts for the whole family with a performance of the Christmas calendar “Jul i Valhal.” The concert lasts about 1 hour.

On December 11-12, Julie Bertelsen will visit the concert hall and, together with the Funen Chamber Choir and the Odense Symphony Orchestra, will perform a potpourri of atmospheric Christmas carols.

On December 20-21, The Nutcracker will be performed, Tchaikovsky's true Christmas story for both children and adults. In this version, The Nutcracker is a modern Christmas tale about Clara, who is so connected to and dependent on digital life that it interferes with her enjoyment of Christmas. But will the Christmas spirit be rediscovered?
