Lumby Mølle (Mill)
Lumby Mill from 1820 is beautifully situated in the north of Odense, where it has been a central focal point for local history. The mill is an old windmill from 1820 that is the centre of a wide range of activities every year. For more than 20 years, the many volunteers behind the mill have been instrumental in ensuring that the mill is now fully functional with grinders and sieves.
Events in the mill
Today, Lumby Mill with its scenic garden with old apple trees attracts thousands of visitors to the many annual events where the grain mill is allowed to show that it still masters its old craft. You can visit the mill market, jazz festival and in July, the mill is open every Wednesday for guided tours and demonstrations.
