From shirts to steaks
Shirts and steaks may not seem to have much in common, but that didn't stop shirt manufacturer Aage Damgaard and his wife Bitten from founding A Hereford Beefstouw more than 50 years ago. In short, Aage was frustrated by the lack of good places to eat in Herning when entertaining business associates. So he decided to take matters into his own hands, and the result was the beginning of not only Herning's, but Denmark's first steakhouse.
