Helmer Design & Antiques

Helmer Design & Antik is a small speciality shop in the heart of Odense's high street area that focuses on buying, selling and decorating with vintage furniture, antiques and handicrafts. The shop is owned and run by husband and wife team Kasper Maaløe and Mia Helmer, who share a passion for aesthetics, materials and craftsmanship.

In Helmer Design & Antik you will find the most exclusive furniture by Danish designers such as Wegner, Finn Juhl and Børge Mogensen alongside ceramics, textiles, lighting and artworks with a focus on Scandinavian design from 1920-1970. There is a high turnover in the shop's exhibition, where everything is for sale. The shop specialises in the valuation and acquisition of Danish design and also offers help with interior design projects for both private and corporate clients.

Mia Helmer has also been part of the buyer panel in several seasons of TV2's popular programme series about auctioneering.
