Autumn Holiday at Museum TID
This autumn holiday, the City Museum TID invites you and your family to explore the fascinating world of the Viking Age, the role of mothers, the trickster god Loki, and much more!
What Is a Mother? What does a mother look like? What does a mother do? During the holiday, both children and adults are welcome to create their own unique “mother” collage. You can either take your creation home or leave it to become part of the exhibition.
Available daily from 10 AM to 4 PM during the autumn holiday.
Hands-On Viking Age Experience Step into the shoes of an archaeologist! Examine real archaeological finds under a microscope and even try on Viking artifacts. Who might have worn the heavy chainmail or the elegant gold jewelry? Together, we’ll uncover the treasures of the Viking Age and imagine the stories behind them.
Available daily from 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
Stories of Loki Join actor Emil Nygaard as he brings to life the mischievous tales of Loki and the strange creatures he’s both father and mother to. These lively, fun-filled stories are interactive, so the audience gets to be part of the action!
Catch the performances from October 15th to 17th at 11:00-11:30 AM and 1:00-1:30 PM.
